Being healthy and staying healthy is not by accident. Food and diet we have today is inferior to the foods of even 30 years ago. The soils are depleted of essential nutrients and global crops are sprayed with over 5.6 billion pounds of herbicides and pesticides each year. Genetically modified crops are the norm; does our body even recognize these Franken foods? Why is it important to eliminate GMO foods in our diet? I’ll help you to easily navigate nutrition, what foods to buy and what foods to avoid.

How to keep you, your kids, and teenagers healthy.

Raising healthy kids can be a challenge. As a mother of 5 teenagers, I know it!

Is there a secret to staying healthy? You bet there is. Not only are fresh vegetables, fruits and clean protein essential, (everyone knows this), but looking after your microbiome/gut health (small intestines) is paramount because this is where your immunity comes from. Healthy gut equals stronger immunity, minimizing colds and flu’s and less trips to the doctor’s office or emergency room. Again, we’re all unique, so we have to look at each member of the family and their specific dietary needs and at different age intervals. This doesn’t mean that each member of the family will need to be on a different diet, it means specific issues may arise and we can then approach that concern appropriately.  The saying, less is more, is actually the secret. The more simple the food is, the more nutrients is has.  Are organic fruit and vegetables healthier? Yes, and they taste a 100% better too. Eating healthy is not difficult; we can make this super easy even for the pickiest eaters.
